Jacorean Linwood, 19 year-old Black male

On March 22, 2016, at approximately 1:27 a.m., Dallas police officers responded to the Highland Road Village Apartments located at 4366 Wyoming #124 in Dallas, regarding a shooting call. Upon arriving at the location, officers observed two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Casey Breedlove, a 33 year-old Black male, was found deceased in a vehicle and the second victim, Brent Rawls, a 35 year-old Black male,  was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.  Witness statements led detectives to an apartment that was connected to these murders where illegal narcotics were confiscated.

A week later on March 29, 2016, victim Isaiah Scott was standing in front of the Dream Food Store located at 3501 South Lancaster Road at about 2:20 a.m.  A silver Jaguar drove up to the location with the two unknown suspects inside. A Black male suspect exited the vehicle and exchanged words with Mr. Scott. The suspect then went back to the car and retrieved a handgun. Mr. Scott and the suspect began to fight for the gun. During the fight a Black female and a Black male assisted the suspect by assaulting Mr. Scott. This enabled the suspect to gain control of the gun and he began shooting at Mr. Scott.  In doing so, he struck not only Mr. Scott but also Mr. Glen Dancer, a security guard, and the accomplice Zachaeus Love, a 21 year-old Black male.  All three were taken to the hospital and treated for their injuries.

As a result of the investigation, detectives tied the same suspect to both of these crimes.  Based on witness accounts, Jacorean Linwood, a 19 year-old Black male, was identified as the person responsible for the Capital Murders of Casey Breedlove and Brent Rawls, as well as the Aggravated Assaults of Isaiah Scott and  Glen Dancer on South Lancaster Road.   Linwood surrendered to police and was arrested by Dallas police yesterday in Dallas and charged with Capital Murder and two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He is currently being held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000,000.00 bond.
