On September 4, 2018, at approximately 10:09 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting at 7460 S. Westmoreland Road. The victim, Quinten Nelson, a 42 year-old Black male was shot and killed during an altercation in the parking lot of a convenience store. The victim died at the scene. The suspect fled the scene in a white SUV.
